4th year intern in Thermics during his M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering at Polytech Engineering School / Montpellier University.
“My job was to carry out a thermal study of the MTCube CubeSat. I had to digitally simulate the temperature reached inside the satellite and thus find out how the different components would react to temperature changes during the mission. This internship was highly profitable and allowed me to learn more about research in the space sector.”
Design Engineer with Alten; DUT GEII (2-year degree in Electrical Engineering) at IUT Nimes (Nimes Polytechnic) then third year of B.Eng EEA (Electronics, Power Electronics and Automation), then M.Eng in Space Systems Engineering (Master EEA-ISS) at Montpellier University.
“The training I received in Master EEA-ISS had the advantage of providing us with knowledge of space engineering through classes and project work while keeping us immersed in our major, electronics. This dual proficiency is a definite plus when looking for a job in the space industry or elsewhere. Moreover CSU projects are collaborative which helps us gain a good degree of maturity, autonomy in our work and self-confidence. The experience obtained with the University Space Center enabled me to find an internship with CNES easily, then I was recruited for a permanent job as a design engineer with Alten, even before I had completed my training.”
